6/1/2003 - Swimaloo,
I am writing to you to let you know how much I like using your lures. I have been fishing with my father since I was a small boy. Not a lot to do out in the country, but fish and hunt. So, I guess you could say I am an experienced fisherman and have used all kinds of fishing products.
I am 39 years old and I still enjoy fishing about once a month, so I want to make sure I use the best tackle I can find.
My first fishing trip was in April and I was out on some pretty rough seas. We went out to the Northwest places and started setting out the Swimaloos. I usually run a spread of 4 about and troll 7 to 12 miles per hour. We had been trolling about 20 minutes when one of our rods started to scream with the unmistakable sound of a good king, then suddenly another and another until all 4 rods, in a matter of seconds, had 4 kings all on at the same time. With only me and a friend of mine on the boat, needless to say, we had our hands full.
It was a great trip thanks to your product. I would recommend it to anyone who wants to catch lots of fish of all species.
Thanks again for a great adventure.

5/12/2003 - Kirk,
It was a fine day Sunday to fish at the schoolhouse wreck. The weather was the best its been for some time. 3 to 4 foot seas a little wind to keep it choppy on the starboard side we had cigar minnows rigged the usual way. We left the inlet at daylight. We didnt get the first strike till about 1:00, that was a dolphin about 10 lbs. The next dolphin was right after that on the outrigger. No more strikes for at least an hour. As we trolled the 3 miles to the ditch 90 feet deep. As we got to the ditch, bamm another two dolphins. All on the Swimaloo side. Then as we trolled in the ditch I lowered the downrigger to 80 feet and Bamm, a king, the first of the season. Man it felt good to hear those clickers sing. We got two more kings one on the Swimaloo and one on a cigar minnow. I think from listning to the radio we had one of the best catches of any one out Sunday.
When we got in we kinda showed off our catch to some other boats that were waiting to get out of the water. We gave the success to Swimaloo. At least five other boat captains got to look and feel of it and where to buy them and the web site. All were interested and kinda impressed with our catch and the Swimaloo.
Damn thing works!!!!

5/1/2003 - What a great bait holder !!!! Wahoo for the Swimaloo !!!
5/29/2002 - My name is Pete Stoyko of Rocky Point, North Carolina. About a year ago Kirk Faulkner came to my shop to fix an electrical problem I was having. We got to talking about fishing and Kirk told me about a ballyhoo lure he was working on. It sounded interesting so I asked if he had any to look at. He brought me a prototype to try out.
That weekend me and my two friends Gary and Randy, left out of Carolina Beach to the schoolhouse wreck about twenty miles offshore. I put the ballyhoo lure on an outrigger and I pulled three kings in before a strike was gotten on the other five lines. I put it on a down rigger and it worked there too, I called Kirk first thing Monday morning and told him “it works”. My buddies and I were impressed enough to put our order in as soon as they were ready.
Thank you, Pete Stoyko
